Who receives the information

Website enquiries are handled through Netlify, our website hosting and form-handling provider. Matthews Construction Group Ltd uses Google Workspace for business email; form notifications sent to an MCG email address are therefore also processed by Google. Information may be shared with authorised MCG personnel and, only where necessary for the enquiry or work, professional advisers, insurers, authorities or delivery partners. We do not sell personal information.

International processing

Netlify, Google and their approved subprocessors may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, the relevant provider terms must use an approved transfer mechanism or apply an adequacy regulation. You may ask us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected. The period depends on whether the enquiry proceeds, the latest meaningful contact, contractual and warranty needs, statutory accounting duties, provider backup cycles, and any need to establish or defend a legal claim. Enquiries that do not proceed should be reviewed and deleted when there is no continuing business or legal need. Where work proceeds, relevant project and financial records may need to be kept for the applicable statutory or limitation period.

Required and optional form fields

Name, email, project area, service and project details are required so that we can understand and respond to the request. Telephone is optional. If required information is not provided, the website form cannot be submitted; you can instead contact us by telephone or email.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

Your right to object: you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the information is needed for legal claims.

To exercise a right, email info@matthewsconstructiongroup.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Automated decisions

We do not use website-enquiry information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects. Hosting systems may apply routine spam or security filtering.

Complaints and updates

Please contact us first if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We review this notice when the website, providers or processing purposes change and will publish a new effective date.
